Jack Lohr (jacklohr@gmail.com) is Interim Minister with The Congregational Church in the Highlands (UCC) in White Plains, NY. His spiritual pilgrimage includes Methodist baptism, Quaker confirmation, Presbyterian ordination, mindfulness meditation practice, and (currently) a journey into the United Church of Christ. While serving in a long-term pastorate in New Jersey, he organized the Practice Community at Franklin Lakes which draws together meditators from many different faith traditions. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College (BA, economics), San Francisco Theological Seminary (MA, theology), and Union Theological Seminary, NYC (MDiv). His wife Janice is Coordinator of School Nurses for the Ridgewood (NJ) Public Schools. They are the parents of four grown children, Rebeca, Michael, Sarah and Daniel, and recently became grandparents for the first time.
