Jane Dempsey Douglass, a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), is the Hazel Thompson McCord Professor of Historical Theology, Emerita, at Princeton Theological Seminary. She was President of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (now World Communion of Reformed Churches) from 1990-1997. She now resides in Claremont, CA, where she had previously taught at the Claremont School of Theology and the Claremont Graduate University.
